Another festival to look forward to in the month of May is the Wirral Farm Feast. It is an annual fair that is hosted at Claremont Farm in Bebington. Make plans and book the date early. It takes place on the holiday weekend of May 25th to May 26th. The festival is as the name suggests a feast on a farm, but it is that and so much more.
There will be cooking workshops and food sampling from all over the world at the different booths and stalls. This food and fun filled festival is a great way to kick off the summer with good, fresh from the farm food and good company. You can take the children along as there are activities specially geared towards them in the Little Feasters Zone.
There is also entertainment featuring live music bands. The festival culminates in the evening with a secondary festival of sorts, which is a musical feast with internationally recognised artists. Food and liquor, such as ale and beer are offered.
There are several different ways to get to these two festivals that take place in the month of May. You can pack up the family and drive to and from the events or you may choose to take a chance and travel by public transportation to the town of Wirral.
However, an easy and economical way to travel to the events and enjoy the Wirral Festivals without worrying about transportation is to book a coach trip at Selwyns.
